Robbie Brady plays a key role in Ireland's 2-2 draw with Serbia

ROBBIE Brady claimed the number 10 shirt and Wes Hoolahan was on the bench as the Republic of Ireland drew 2-2 with Serbia in their opening World Cup qualifier.

Just three minutes into the game, Brady's free-kick was palmed away by Pedrag Rajkovic before the ball was played to the edge of the box and finished by Jeff Hendrick.

Ireland went 2-1 down, after a goal from Filip Kostic 62 minutes in, was followed, seven minutes later, by a penalty from Southampton's Dusan Tadic.

Just ten minutes from the full-time whistle, Brady's pinpoint corner found the head of Daryl Murphy to earn Ireland a point.
