Norwich Under-23s claim three points at Fulham

CITY's Under-23s bounced back from their home defeat to West Ham with a convincing win over Fulham at Motspur Park.

The Whites looked to be on the front foot at the start of the game as Elijah Adebayo put the ball in the back of the net just six minutes in, but was offside.

27 minutes in, Fulham's Adetayo Edun went past three of City's youngsters, only to have his shot parried away by Ben Killip.

Just one minute later, Carlton Morris received the ball and had his low shot saved well by the opposition goalkeeper Marek Rodak.

City started the half on the back foot, however the young Canaries finished the first 45 as the stronger side, but both sides were ready to go searching for the opening goal in the second half.

Diallang Jaiyesimi put City ahead after 51 minutes when he found himself amongst Fulham's defence and smashed a shot past Rodak.

Fulham received a corner with ten minutes to go, which saw Mattias Kait's header rocket off the bar, frustrating the Whites as they were searching hard for an equaliser.

Six minutes from the final whistle, Fulham's Luca de la Torre saw his shot saved well by Killip, and the young Canaries had the win in their sights.

The final whistle went, and Norwich's Under-23s had three points under their belts thanks to Jaiyesimi's goal.
