Youngsters beaten by Fulham

CITY's Under-18s suffered a 4-0 home defeat to Fulham at Colney Training Centre on Saturday.

Skipper Owen Wallis turned the ball into his own net just short of the quarter hour mark to put the visiting side in front before Cameron Thompson doubled the Cottagers' lead just two minutes later.

A costly opening half hour included Fulham's third goal on 23 minutes when Jaydn Mundle-Smith headed home, leaving the Canaries with a significant task to get something from the match.

As they chased a goal in the second half, Fulham caught them out with their fourth as Mikolaj Kwietniewski found the net in the 75th minute.

With this result coming off the back of a win over Chelsea and a draw against Tottenham Hotspur, City will be hoping to return to that form when they visit Southampton on Saturday, October 1 (12.30pm).

NORWICH CITY: Hale-Brown; Aarons, Wallis (c), Odusina (Ellesley 70), Syme (Catton 65); Sambu, Aransibia; Kamal (Fleming 50), McIntosh, Spyrou; Ashley-Seal. Subs not used: Payne.
