City youngsters comeback to beat Chelsea 5-4

NORWICH City's Under-18s got back to winning ways on Saturday after a 5-4 victory over Chelsea.

Just 13 minutes in, Chelsea's Martell Taylor-Crossdale put the visitors ahead, and kicked off the scoring in this nine goal thriller.

Louis McIntosh swiftly replied just three minutes later after getting on the end of goalkeeper Jake Hallett's long ball, and beating the keeper.

Chelsea's Taylor-Crossdale scored his second of the match after 26 minutes, and then completed his first-half hat-trick just one minute from half-time.

The visitors were 3-1 up at the break, but just three minutes into the second half, Max Aarons went on a great individual run before cutting into the box and beating two more and slotting the ball into the far corner.

The young Canaries levelled the scoring after a corner was put into the box, and fell to the feet of captain Owen Wallis, who showed good technique to stick the ball in the back of the net 53 minutes in.

Devonte Aransibia assisted McIntosh's second of the game in the 64th minute.

Four minutes later, Alan Fleming, in just his second start after coming back from injury, was played in on the right hand side of the box, and smashed the ball in to make it 5-3.

Two minutes from the final whistle, Chelsea's Charlie Brown got his side a consolation goal and the ninth of the game, to make it 5-4.
