Lee Darnbrough and Tony Spearing leave City

CITY can confirm Head of Football Recruitment Tony Spearing and Head of Scouting Lee Darnbrough have left the Club with immediate effect.

Darnbrough, 39, arrived in July 2015 to work on City's player recruitment and performance analysis operation, having previously carried out a similar role at Burnley.

Former Canary player Spearing, 52, made 82 appearances for the Club in the 1980s and returned from Reading to join City’s backroom team and work with Lee in April 2016, having held senior scouting positions at Blackburn and West Bromwich Albion.

The Club would like to thank both of them for their time at Norwich and wish them all the very best for the next challenges in their careers.
