The latest squad news ahead of Wednesday's game

GRAHAM Dorrans will miss the midweek trip to Huddersfield Town with the ankle injury he sustained on Saturday.

The midfielder was making his first start since Boxing Day but only completed 45 minutes at Villa Park after picking up another knock in the minutes leading up to half-time.

Alan Irvine told Norwich City TV on Tuesday: "Graham hasn't trained so he won't make it for the game unfortunately.

"We've had it scanned and it's not too bad, so we're hoping we'll have him available for the weekend."

Irvine says he will make a late call on Wes Hoolahan (thigh) ahead of the trip to Yorkshire, adding: "Wes trained on Monday and we'll assess him.

"I don't want to rush him as I've said before, because it's important that he's available for the remainder of the season. If we feel if it's not quite time yet to come back in, then we'll make that decision."

Youssouf Mulumbu looks set to be included in the squad after completing an hour for the Under-23s on Friday, but City will definitely be without regular full-backs Ivo Pinto and Mitchell Dijks through suspension.

"We're not in a great position as far as the full-backs are concerned, which does cause us a problem but we can't dwell on that. We have options open to us," Irvine commented.

Louis Thompson is a long-term absentee for the Canaries after undergoing Achilles surgery in January.
