George Saville has been the star player for Millwall this season in midfield.

Schooled at Chelsea as a youngster, the playmaker had to move away from Stamford Bridge in a bid to make a name for himself.

An unsuccessful stint at Wolves came in 2014, but Saville seems to have finally found a place where he can really show his full potential.

He’s played the second most minutes for the Lions in the league this season and is their top scorer with seven goals – more than regular strikers Lee Gregory and Steve Morison combined.

On the right-hand side of midfield, Jed Wallace has been the main provider of assists, achieving three so far while also netting four times.

In defence, Shaun Hutchinson has played every minute this season and has helped Millwall keep seven clean sheets. He’s also made the most clearances and interceptions in a blue and white shirt this year.

Millwall edged their way to a 1-0 home victory on Friday night, doing just enough to defeat Queen's Park Rangers.

Former City forward Steve Morison scored the only goal of the game in the 55th minute, registering his first of the season in the process.

Morison's last strike before that had come on the biggest stage of all at Wembley back in May, when he netted late to give his side a Sky Bet League One play-off final victory over Bradford City.

Since then, Millwall have generally adjusted well to life in a higher division, losing just once in their past six outings.

Previous Meeting
August's clash between the two sides at The Den proved a nightmareish one for City, but also the catalyst for a revival.

Goals from Lee Gregory, George Saville and Jed Wallace left the Canaries 3-0 down at the break, before Shaun Hutchinson's header rounded off the scoring.

The manner of the defeat prompted Head Coach Daniel Farke to tweak his starting XI, leading to the club's best form of the campaign - and a record run of clean sheets.

With Millwall winless on the road so far this term, Farke has already outlined a collective desire to provide the London-side with a far sterner test this time around.
