Ben Godfrey played 90 minutes as Shrewsbury Town continued their impressive start to the season with a 3-2 victory over Coventry City in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night.
Joe Riley’s last-minute free-kick helped Salop maintain their decent start to the campaign, with Godfrey’s fellow City loanee Ebou Adams coming on for the final ten minutes of their win. Carlton Morris was an unused substitute at the Ricoh Arena.
Meanwhile, Sean Raggett was an unused substitute as Lincoln City also made a winning start to their Checkatrade Trophy campaign - they beat Mansfield Town 3-1.
On Bank Holiday Monday, Louis Ramsay came on for the final 25 minutes as Woking thrashed Torquay United 4-1 in the National League.
And finally, Henry Pollock played his second full match in just three days for Norwich United as they were beaten 3-1 by Dereham Town in the Isthmian League North.
