Sporting Director Stuart Webber says a strong work ethic will be a vital part of Norwich City's make-up this season.
With the 2017-18 Sky Bet Championship campaign set to get underway on Saturday, Webber is pleased with the attitude shown by City's squad so far.
Speaking to canaries.co.uk, he said: "It's been a pre-season of a lot of changes, with a new team and new ideas.
"When you consider everything that's gone on, we're pretty happy. There's a good togetherness with the staff and the players and you can feel the team spirit.
"There have been challenges. We've had injuries to key players but sometimes a bit of adversity can bring you even tighter together.
"We're just looking forward to getting started now."
Webber says the process of adopting a new philosophy won't be an immediate one, with a period of transition to be expected.
"At times it won't be perfect, but we think the rewards will outweigh the difficult times," he added.
"People have to be patient and respectful. We have a way and want to achieve things in a certain style rather than just turning up.
"Daniel has put in an identity with and without the ball very quickly. There's a real culture of working unbelievably hard and I don't think there will be any times when fans can say the players haven't given everything.
"This group are working extremely hard. Someone once said the harder you work the luckier you get.
"I think that's true. If you work hard normally good things end up happening for you."
