Daniel Farke praised his side for their response to defeat to Brentford after recording a 2-0 win at Birmingham City on Boxing Day.
The Canaries put in an underwhelming performance against The Bees last Friday, but stepped things up to record an important win at St. Andrew's.
Speaking to the media, Farke said: "Our last first half, in the home game, was awful.
"We needed some changes to get the momentum back. Our defending was really good, we created lots of chances and used two of them.
"We want to go further on now. We know that in our next game we will have nearly the same topic against a highly-motivated opponent."
Alex Pritchard proved integral to City securing victory with a goal and an assist, while full debutant Jamal Lewis also impressed after coming into the side at left-back.
"He [Pritchard] is special and can always created something," Farke added.
"From week-to-week he is improving and it's good to have him back. We have to be careful because there is a lot of load, but we're happy to have him back.
"Jamal had a brilliant performance for his first game. I only have compliments for this lad because it was his first appearance for the first team in six months.
"He can be proud of that. His attitude is brilliant and he will be an important part of our future."
