Sean Raggett's made the final home appearance of his agreed loan spell with Lincoln City on Saturday as they earned a 2-1 win over Forest Green Rovers in Sky Bet League Two.

A goal in either half from Matt Rhead gave The Imps all three points as they extended their fine recent run, with Christian Doige netting for the visitors.

Raggett, who played 90 minutes, is soon set to return to Carrow Road having agreed a permanent move in the summer prior to returning to Sincil Bank on a temporary basis.

Elsewhere in the division, Diallang Jaiyesimi played 66 minutes as Grimsby Town were beaten 3-0 at home to Accrington Stanley.

All the goals came in the second half, with Billy Kee's penalty setting the ball rolling before further strikes from Sean McConville and Kayden Jackson.

In Sky Bet League One, Ben Godfrey netted his first of the season as Shrewsbury Town won 2-1 away to Southend United.

The visitors went in front early on when Ben Coker turned into his own net, with Godfrey scoring superbly from distance five minutes before the break to double the advantage.

Ryan Leonard pulled a goal back for Southend in the second period, but Salop held out to strengthen their grip on the second automatic promotion position.

Godfrey played the full match, while Carlton Morris was withdrawn 15 minutes from time - while Ebou Adams was an unused substitute.

At the other end of the table, relegation-threatened Plymouth Argyle suffered late heartbreak as they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw at Blackpool.

Argyle had led 2-0 at half-time courtesy of strikes from Ruben Lameiras and Graham Carey, but Pools' Colin Daniel halved the deficit ten minutes after the restart.

Blackpool then snatched a point deep into injury-time when Viv Solomon-Otabor finished past Remi Matthews - who earlier this week completed a season-long loan to the Devon outfit.

Finally, Michee Efete played 90 minutes as Torquay United were beaten 2-0 at Boreham Wood while Louis Ramsay's ten-man Woking drew 2-2 away to Eastleigh, with both of those matches being National League fixtures.
