Norwich City's Under-18s will go into their FA Youth Cup tie on Tuesday on the back of a 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the weekend.
The win extended City's unbeaten run to three games as Jaden Thompson-Brissett's second half strike was the difference.
Leicester have made an impressive start to the U18 Premier League season and went into the match in third position.
In a tight game, the key moment came on 57 minutes after Anthony Spyrou's shot was saved but Thompson-Brissett (pictured) was on hand to smash home the rebound.
City XI: McCracken, Aarons, Kamal, Lomas, Odusina, Payne, Fleming (Parsons, 58), Barkarson, Spyrou, Idah, Thompson-Brissett
Subs not used: Mehmeti, Dickerson, Ekumah, Barnes
Goals: Thompson-Brissett 57
Next up for City is the start of their 2017-18 FA Youth Cup campaign when they take on Barnsley in the third round at Carrow Road (7pm).
