Norwich City Under-18s qualified for the quarter finals of the Premier League Cup after finishing their group stage with a 2-2 draw against Manchester City at Colney on Saturday.
The Canaries went into the match top of Group C with a 100% record and they entertained a Man City side top of the U18 Premier League (North).
The home side took the lead when Adam Idah raced clear and finished brilliantly past Curtis Anderson but the visitors responded shortly after the break through a Felix Nmecha penalty.
Jaden Thompson-Brissett restored the hosts’ lead on 70 minutes but Man City managed to take a point from proceedings after Tommy Doyle’s equaliser.
However, the draw confirmed City’s place in the next round and they’ll find out their quarter final opponents this week.
