Young Canaries see off Foxes
Owen Wallis' goal twelve minutes from time secured all three Barclays Under-18s Premier League points, ensuring a generally authoritative City did just enough to see off the Foxes.
The Canaries were largely dominant during the first half, but weren't able to find the goal that a strong opening period deserved.
Maintaining that pressure following the restart, Bilal Kamal went close to breaking the deadlock from a free-kick only to see his well-struck effort beaten away by Cameron Yates.
Opportunities generally came with less regularity as the game progressed, despite City's attempts to raise the tempo, with Leicester's Harrison Myring flashing just wide on 75 minutes.
That scare served to reignite the hosts once again however; Max Aarons seeing a shot cleared off the line moments before Wallis bundled home from a corner.
David Wright's youngsters threatened to add more to their tally, but most crucially kept the visitors at bay comfortably during the final moments to close out a narrow win.
