REPORT: WEST HAM 0-1 UNDER-18s

4 February 2017

Kamal free-kick secures three points for City

NORWICH City moved to 7th in the Under-18s Premier League after beating West Ham on Saturday.

After a quiet opening half an hour without any clear-cut chances for either side, it was on the 30-minute mark that Bilal Kamal's 25-yard free-kick flew over the wall and nestled in the top right corner, leaving Hammers stopper Rihard Matrevics watching on.

The final 15 minutes of the half saw little action, allowing City to go into the break a goal to the good and full of confidence.

Irons players Ben Johnson and Reece Hannan's chances in the second half were the home side's only hopes of an equaliser but City were able to hold out for the win.

City go on to host Arsenal next weekend looking to continue their winning form.
