Boss previews Saturday's trip to Rotherham

ALEX Neil is hopeful his team can build some more momentum with a positive result at Rotherham United on Saturday (3pm).

The Canaries are unbeaten in three after enduring a torrid run of eight defeats in eleven matches.

Neil told Norwich City TV ahead of the weekend: "There's no question that we deserved to beat Brentford on the performance, and we then put a really good performance in against Derby.

"We more than held our own against Southampton, so we're undefeated in our last three games which is good considering the form we were in.

"If we can win this game - you don't want to tempt fate, but we'd like to think we've turned a corner and we can start picking up more wins.

"We're moving in the right direction but obviously a lot of that will be determined by tomorrow."

City beat the Millers 3-1 at Carrow Road in October and they are rooted to the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship with just three wins all season.

Neil isn't underestimating Paul Warne's outfit, however, adding: "It will be a difficult one. They will probably look at it like there's nothing to lose.

"They're aggressive, they'll turn the ball forward and we need to make sure we're up for the fight because if we compete and win the fight, then our quality will hopefully come through.

"These games are difficult because they're the one you need to make sure the players are up for. You need to go to places like Rotherham and put in a really solid, professional performance."
