Wideman set for Carrow Road return this weekendNATHAN Redmond is expecting his former teammates to be in 'full spirits' when he returns with Southampton for Saturday's Emirates FA Cup third round tie (3pm).
City produced one of their best performances of the season to beat Derby County 3-0 in their Sky Bet Championship meeting on Monday.
Redmond, 22, could play at Carrow Road for the first time this weekend since leaving the Canaries last summer in a Club-record deal.
Southampton had a poor festive period, losing their three Premier League matches, but the winger says Claude Puel's squad remain united.
"It happens in every team. You get good spells and bad spells, good form and bad form. We're all in it together," Redmond told southamptonfc.com.
"They'll (Norwich) be up in full spirits but we've got to hit the ground running and there's no better way to start than by getting a win in the cup.
"We've gone on a strong run in the EFL Cup this year, getting to the semi-finals, and we're going to put our all into this one as well.
"Hopefully we can then transfer that into the league, but this is the game we're focussing on now."
Redmond spent three seasons with City, making 123 appearances and playing a starring role in the play-off triumphs over Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough in 2015.
He added: "It should be good going back there and seeing some old faces and some old teammates but we’ve got a game to focus on and we’re preparing for that.
"I didn’t see the draw straight away, I got a few texts from a few people back in Norwich and a few friends as well asking if I was looking forward to going back.
"It will be a nice atmosphere, especially for myself going back to Carrow Road, so I’m looking forward to it."
