The latest squad news ahead of Saturday

CITY have been boosted ahead of Saturday's game against Rotherham with the news that Timm Klose (Achilles) will be available.

The defender was forced off in the second half of the 2-2 Emirates FA Cup draw with Southampton on Saturday.

But Neil told Norwich City TV on Friday: "He'll be fine, it was just a knock. He obviously didn't manage to finish the game which was disappointing, but he should be ok."

The Canaries remain thin on the ground in central midfield with Louis Thompson (pelvis), Graham Dorrans (knee) and Youssouf Mulumbu (internationals) all out for the trip to the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Neil said on Thompson: "He's back on the grass at the moment but because of the nature of his injury he's been out for nine weeks.

"Because it's been in his midriff area, he's been unable to do most things really so he's kind of starting pre-season again at the moment."

Matt Jarvis is set to have a scan on the hamstring injury he picked up in Thursday's Under-23s game against Aston Villa, meanwhile Robbie Brady serves the final game of his three-match suspension.
