Mulumbu features in his country's win over Togo
YOUSSOUF Mulumbu played the whole game as DR Congo booked an Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final with a 3-1 win over Togo on Tuesday.
City midfielder Mulumbu started for the first time in the competition as goals from Junior Kabananga, Ndombe Mubele and Paul-Jose M'Poku ensured they topped Group C.
Florent Ibenge's side finished on seven points after drawing with Ivory Coast and beating Morocco in their two previous group matches.
Mulumbu will now hope to feature in Sunday's quarter-final (4pm), where DR Congo will face the runners-up in Group D.
