Norwich City can confirm their preparation for the 2017-18 campaign will include four matches in Germany as part of a pre-season tour.
The week-long tour, which starts on July 16, will involve two games for the first-team against opposition from the second tier of German football. City’s under-23s, who are also on the tour, will play against two German sides.
Daniel Farke’s men will face MSV Duisburg at Willi-Hafer Stadium in Hilbeck on July 19 (kick-off 6pm) and Arminia Bielefeld at Schuco-Arena (pictured above) on July 21 (6pm). Duisburg topped the third tier of the Bundesliga last season and were promoted to 2 Bundesliga. Arminia Bielefeld finished 15th in 2 Bundesliga last season.
Meanwhile, City’s Under-23s play SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen at Stadium Niederrhein on July 19 (12.30pm) and Eintracht Braunschweig U23 at Hotel Klosterpforte on July 21 (12pm).
City’s pre-season schedule kicks off against Cobh Ramblers on July 5 (7.30pm) during the Club’s training camp in Ireland, and finishes with a home fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on July 29 (3pm).
