NORWICH City defender Timm Klose played the second half of Switzerland's 1-0 friendly victory in Belarus on Thursday night.
The only goal came in the first half, with Xherdan Shaqiri netting for the hosts in their warm-up for next week's World Cup Qualifier away to the Faroe Islands.
Elsewhere, Wes Hoolahan came on after 64 minutes of Republic of Ireland's 3-1 friendly defeat to Mexico in the United States.
Martin O'Neill's men face Uruguay in a further friendly in Dublin on Sunday, before turning their attention to World Cup Qualifying matters when they come up against Austria on Sunday, June 11.
