Ground collection and a range of CSF matchday activity to take place on Saturday!

NORWICH City's official charity partner, the Community Sports Foundation (CSF), are holding a ground collection at the Canaries' Sky Bet Championship meeting with Barnsley at Carrow Road on Saturday (3pm).

The charity are looking to raise much needed funds to continue to support disabled and disadvantaged people throughout Norfolk.

CSF are one of the largest providers of disability sport in the area and help more than 200 people with a disability play sport across Norfolk every week.

Saturday’s matchday activity will also include a fixture at the Family FanZone between the Norwich City Down’s Syndrome football squad and an equivalent team from the Crystal Palace Foundation.

Supporters will have chance to watch the match, which begins at 12.30pm, prior to kick-off.

At half-time, a number of the Foundation’s disability participants will take part in a pitch side procession.

Representatives from the Down’s Syndrome team will be joined by members of another of the Foundation’s disability programmes, the Match Day club, as they make their way along the perimeter track in front of the South Stand and The Barclay so please give them an enthusiastic welcome!

CSF Fundraising Officer, Emma Fletcher, said: "The money raised from the ground collection will help fantastic projects like the DS team and the Match Day clubs.

"We will have over forty volunteers assisting on the day including CSF staff and participants from our disability and Street Life Soccer programmes. If every Canary fan donated just £1, we could raise a significant amount to continue to support those in need across Norfolk."

Ground collectors from the charity will be outside the stadium prior to kick-off. Any donations, small or large, are greatly appreciated!

Tickets are also on sale for Jamie's Game 2017, with the annual celebrity match returning to Carrow Road on Sunday, May 21 (3pm).

Further information can be found at while tickets can be purchased ONLINE, by phone on 0844 826 1902 or from the ticket offices at Carrow Road, Castle Mall and Chapelfield.
