Young Canaries claim three points in eight goal thriller

NORWICH City's Under-18s continued their unbeaten run on Saturday with a 5-3 home win over Derby County.

After an opening dominated by the young Canaries, Bilal Kamal's ball was converted from close range by Kieran Higgs to put the young Canaries a goal to the good.

Moments before the interval, Emersson Sambu placed the ball beyond Rams 'keeper Matt Yates to double City's lead.

January signing Agust Hlynsson scored his first goal for the Canaries from the penalty spot after 53 minutes to increase Norwich's advantage.

Derby got a goal back three minutes later thanks to Cameron Cresswell but Higgs bagged his second of the game to regain City's three goal lead which was extended in the 74th minute by Hlynsson.

The Rams got two late goals within two minutes, Cresswell netted again in the 82nd minute before frontman Jahvan Davidson-Miller followed suit in the 84th.
