The latest squad news ahead of Saturday's game

NELSON Oliveira is on track with his recovery from his foot injury according to manager Alex Neil.

The Portuguese striker is ruled out of Saturday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday but City's boss revealed that Oliveira has been out on the grass this week.

"He's making good progress but it's a bone injury so it's about healing time," he told Norwich City TV.

"As soon as that's healed, we'll be good to go and he can get his fitness levels up. He's been doing a bit but nothing too strenuous at the moment."

Neil added that Youssouf Mulumbu (thigh) and Graham Dorrans (knee) are in a similar situation to Oliveira, with the pair edging closer to fitness but still unavailable.

Steven Naismith and Ivo Pinto came through their respective comebacks pain-free last weekend, but Louis Thompson remains a long-term absentee after undergoing Achilles surgery in January.
