Daniel Farke believes his Norwich City side’s performances on the road this season proves that they are capable of beating Cardiff City on Friday evening.
City have not won any of their last six league games but have reserved some of their best form for away fixtures, winning at the likes of Sheffield United, Middlesbrough and Ipswich Town.
“I think we’ve shown we can win points wherever we go,” said Farke, speaking at his pre-match press conference. “We won at Sheffield United and we won at Middlesbrough.
“All of our games have been pretty close, perhaps just one game we’ve had to accept the other team was better and that was against Wolves.
“We won’t drive to Cardiff and say: ‘They are the favourite and it will be a close loss.’ No. We all believe that we can win some points.
“We know it will be a hard challenge but we will try to do our best."
Cardiff are currently second in the Sky Bet Championship and have not lost at home all season – Farke is well aware of the task facing his players.
“We know that Cardiff have been at the top of the table for most of the season which is perhaps a surprise when we were talking about the top favourites at the start of the season," he added.
“But they totally deserved to be at the top position for many weeks. They are in the promotion position at the moment and have not lost at home all season.
“They’ve conceded the smallest amount of goals in the whole league so it will be a big task.”
