James Maddison's superb individual showing for Norwich City in the Sky Bet Championship this season can be improved upon, according to the man himself.
The midfielder has shone in his breakthrough campaign at Carrow Road, being named as the Club's Player of the Month in both September and October.
Speaking to the media on Monday afternoon ahead of City's trip to Nottingham Forest, Maddison said: "I'm quite happy with how I've been playing but think I've got another gear to move into still.
"I'm grateful to the boss for throwing me in. The fans have been brilliant for me, on and off the pitch.
"I always knew I had the ability and I've enjoyed getting a lot of minutes this season. I've never really had this workload before but I have to get myself ready for every game.
"I feel good in my legs. I feel fitter and fitter and am raring to go."
With City winless in their last four league games following the weekend draw with Barnsley, the 20-year-old is determined for his side to take the City Ground spoils.
"Saturday felt like a defeat but we've got to put it behind us," he admitted candidly.
"We've had a sticky patch but one result can turn it. Results might not have been great recently, but there's always a good feeling within the group.
"It's about us showing what we're capable of now. Forest are a good side but we've been good on the road.
"I'm hungrier than ever to prove to fans we've got a really good team and that we can create something special."
