Remi Matthews was the hero for Plymouth Argyle as they continued their resurgence in Sky Bet League One with a 1-0 win at Bradford City.
Jake Jervis scored the only goal in a fixture where Plymouth were forced to defend and rely on the qualities of Matthews, particularly in the second half when he saved a penalty from Tony McMahon.
Meanwhile, Harry Toffolo continued his run in the Doncaster Rovers starting eleven but they were denied victory in the South Yorkshire derby with Rotherham United in stoppage time.
Doncaster looked set for their first win in the fixture since 2007 but a late strike by Kieffer Moore meant the match ended in a draw.
In Sky Bet League Two, Lincoln City produced a sensational second half comeback to thrash Crewe Alexandra 4-1 at the Alexandra Stadium.
Sean Raggett played the full match at the back for Lincoln as they moved up to eighth in the league table after fighting back from a goal down at half-time.
A Michael Raynes' header put Crewe in front but the defender later put through his own net. Other goals from Harry Anderson (2) and Elliott Whitehouse saw the Imps cruise to victory.
Elsewhere in the same division, Diallang Jaiyesimi featured for the final 33 minutes as Grimsby Town were beaten 2-0 away to promotion chasers Exeter City.
Goals from Jayden Stockley and Liam McAlinden fired Exeter to a two-goal advantage before Jaiyesimi was introduced in the 57th minute but Grimsby could not find a way back into the match.
In the Vanarama National League, Michee Efete played 90 minutes as Torquay United were edged out by Maidstone United.
Joe Pigott netted a fine goal in the first half to extend Torquay’s stay in the relegation zone.
In non-league, Callum Ellesley played 90 minutes as Cheshunt were beaten 4-0 at home to Barking in the Bostik League North Division and Henry Pollock also played a full match as Norwich United were beaten by Witham Town in the same division.
