Darren Huckerby set to leave Norwich City

13 October 2017

Norwich City can confirm Darren Huckerby is set to leave his role as Under-23s coach within the Club’s Academy.

The Club would like to place on record its sincere gratitude to Darren for his contribution, both as a member of staff and more historically as a player between 2003 and 2008.

He made in excess of 200 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions after joining from Manchester City, initially on loan, scoring 48 times.

Sporting Director Stuart Webber said: "Firstly, I want to thank Darren for his professionalism throughout his time here.

"We have done an internal review of the Academy and this includes having to make difficult decisions. This was among those difficult decisions.

"Darren will always be considered a legend at this club and he leaves with not only our best wishes, but the knowledge that he will always be welcome at Carrow Road."
