Norwich City travel to East Anglian rivals Ipswich Town in the Sky Bet Championship on Sunday, October 22 (12pm).

Club Canary Coaches will depart from outside Carrow Road at 9am.

Fans are advised to make themselves aware of the below information.

The Canaries Official store at Carrow Road will be open at 8am for fans wishing to make last-minute purchases ahead of the derby!

By Car
Ipswich Town's stadium is situated on Portman Road, Ipswich with the SatNav postcode IP1 2DA.

For driving directions between Carrow Road and Portman Road, CLICK HERE.

There is no official stadium car park, and fans are advised to travel via train (if not on official club coaches) where possible.

However, for those driving to Ipswich, a large NCP on Portman Road and another large car park on West End Road dium car park are options.

Please note, there will be a number of temporary road closures around the stadium and station on the day of the game.

By Train
There are planned engineering works on Sunday, October 22 which will affect fans travelling to the game from Lowestoft and London.

For those fans travelling from Norwich, the usual train service will depart from Norwich on the hour and return to Norwich from Ipswich at 46 minutes past the hour.

Abellio Greater Anglia are also running an additional service, which departs Norwich at 10:50, calling at Diss at 11:08 and arriving in Ipswich at 11:30.

The return service departs Ipswich at 14:35, calling at Diss at 14:56 and arriving in Norwich at 15:15.

Please note, all lines are closed between Norwich and Great Yarmouth and Norwich and Lowestoft.

Fans coming via these routes will need to get a bus replacement service from Great Yarmouth to Norwich and Lowestoft to Norwich to pick up the train to Ipswich - and do the reverse for the return journey.

For supporters travelling from London there will be no service between Liverpool Street and Ingatestone.

These supporters will need to travel on the Central Line to Newbury Park and pick up a bus to Ingatestone where trains will leave for Ipswich - with the return journey following the same process but in reverse.

Police Advice
Fans are encouraged by police to arrive at the ground early where possible.

Turnstiles will be open from 10:30am, with a number of roads having vehicular access limited on the day of the game.

Please be aware, bag searches will be taking place prior to entry to the stadium.

Away Pub
The Station Hotel (formerly the Riverside Hotel) is opposite the station, and is the official away pub.

The Station Hotel will be open on Sunday morning for Norwich fans.

Alcohol will be available in the away end from the time the turnstiles open until kick-off.

Please note, no other pubs around the town will be accepting away fans.
