Norwich City are ready for 'a good war' when they visit Ipswich Town in the Sky Bet Championship on Sunday, according to Ivo Pinto.
The Canaries go into the first East Anglian derby of the season boasting an excellent recent record against their biggest rivals - going unbeaten since 2009.
Speaking to the media on Friday afternoon, Pinto said: "We want to make sure that continues.
"It's a big derby but we will handle the game. The most important thing on Sunday isn't to not lose, it's to win.
"It's going to be a good war and an exciting match between two good teams. We are very good away at the moment and hopefully we can get the three points.
"The atmosphere will be hard for us but with our fans we can achieve good things. The spirit that is around the team is beautiful and helps us win games."
Pinto has captained City in each of their last eight outings, a run during which they have avoided defeat to climb the league table and progress in the Carabao Cup.
"It's a pleasure to wear the armband, especially for the derby," the 27-year-old added.
"I think we have the better team, but we have to show that. It's not a big storm, we just want to win.
"I hope I can help the team in an important game. I want to keep all the boys together.
"We don't have one captain. We are all captains. We will see on Sunday."
