Middlesbrough v City: Fan Info

Norwich City travel to Middlesbrough on Tuesday, September 26 (7:45pm) to face Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship.

Club Canary Coaches will depart from outside Carrow Road at 12:45pm on the day of the game, but for City fans making their own way to The Riverside Stadium, here's our brief travel guide.

By Car
The Riverside stadium is situated in Middlesbrough, with the SatNav postcode TS3 6RS.

Matchday parking at the stadium is only available to permit holders, with both home and away fans able to purchase permits by calling the ticket office on 0844 499 1234  (subject to availability).

If you do not have a permit, you are advised to use town centre parking with 3,558 long-stay parking spaces available within the town.

Fans are advised enforcement action will be taken against cars parked illegally or unsafely in areas around the stadium.

By Train
Middlesbrough station is located on Albert Road which is a 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the Riverside.

TransPennine Express and Northern Railway both operate through Middlesbrough Railway Station with direct services to and from York, Leeds and Manchester.

To access the stadium from the railway station, exit onto Bridge Street West, turn right and cross Albert Road.

Follow Bridge Street East to the junction with Windward Way before staying on Winward Way, eventually passing the Hudson Quay development on the left, and continue on under the bridge to the Riverside Stadium.

Please note, due to the game having an evening kick-off, limited services will be available after the game.

Where To Eat And Drink
According to footballgroundguide.com, the main pub for away fans is Doctor Browns, which is a ten minute walk away from the ground at the bottom of Corporation Road, in the town centre.

Alternatively, more options are available nearer to the railway station in the town centre.

At The Stadium
There are five concessions in the away end for visiting supporters in the Riverside Stadium supplying hot and cold drinks, including alcohol. 

Payment options include Credit and Debit cards including contactless payment at the majority of the away locations.

Please be aware there are no cash machines located at the stadium.
