Daniel Farke says his Norwich City side are keen to finish as high as possible in the Sky Bet Championship table as the season heads towards a close.
City take on Leeds United at Carrow Road on Saturday (3pm) and Farke believes his players are determined to pick up three points to enhance their chances of finishing in the top half.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Farke said: "In our last home games, although we lost the last home game against Cardiff City, it was a good performance in general.
"Our last few performances have been really good at home against really good sides. We want to go further on with this and it's also important for us to finish as high a possible.
"I'm a bit surprised they [Leeds] aren't contesting the top six. They have really quality players, especially in their offensive areas.
"It's a sign of how close the Championship is. They have slipped down the table quite a bit.
"Tomorrow, the team who wins has the best chance to finish 12th. We will give everything because we want to be successful in our last home game."
Saturday will be a special occasion in particular for Wes Hoolahan who will bring to an end his 10-year stay at Carrow Road with his final apperance against Leeds.
And Farke says his players are keen to send Hoolahan off with a victory.
"Tomorrow, the game is a bit more important for Wes because we all want to give him a brilliant last game," added Farke.
"He deserves this and it's always nice when we are there with a good performance and a good result and that helps for the mood and the atmosphere."
