Daniel Farke expects a game of high intensity as they face a Preston North End side looking to break into the Championship play-off positions.
Alex Neil’s men sit three points off the top six with three matches remaining, and Farke says his players will have to be prepared for an aggressive match.
"We expect a game full of intensity and aggressiveness tomorrow because they probably need to win their next three games to reach the play-offs,” Farke told the media on Friday lunchtime. “It will be a tough game.”
Farke also wants to see City impose their own style on the match as the Canaries look to end the season strongly.
“My boys will have to be there without a lot of commitment,” Farke said. “But we have to be cool enough to bring our football on the pitch and concentrate on our strengths
“When we try to copy teams like Cardiff or teams with a lot of tall players we’re not always the better team. Our strength is a lot of technical ability, so it’s important we don’t copy these teams too much – it’s important we force them to play our game.
“There will be periods when Preston play with aggressiveness and we’ll have to adapt to that and be awake when that happens, too. We’ll have to win the battles and the duels, but to always make sure we bring our strength on the pitch.”
