Norwich City visit Sunderland in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
The Black Cats have largely struggled in the Championship this season but did beat City in the return fixture at Carrow Road in August:
Offensively, Aiden McGeady has proved to be Sunderland’s biggest attacking threat this season.
The Irish winger scored in the return fixture between the two sides and has altogether notched seven goals and four assists this year.
Joining McGeady at the top of assists chart for Chris Coleman’s men is Bryan Oviedo. The former Everton man has also bagged two goals from the left this season.
Youngster George Honeyman is another attacking threat for Sunderland. The attacking midfielder has scored five times in the league and also has two assists.
Elsewhere, John O’Shea and Lee Cattermole provide an experienced spine for the Black Cats and the two will be crucial as they aim to fight off the threat of a second successive relegation.
Sunderland’s form in 2018 has done nothing to improve their league position, having only won twice since the turn of the year.
In their last five matches they’ve only recorded four points, leaving themselves seven points adrift from safety.
After defeats to Queen Park Rangers on March 10 and Preston North End a week later, Sunderland looked to have sparked a mini-revival after the international break against Derby County.
First-half strikes from George Honeyman and Ashley Fletcher put Coleman’s men two-up but Matej Vydra reduced the arrears just before half-time.
However, second-half goals from Aiden McGeady and John O’Shea ensured an eyecatching 4-1 victory at the promotion-chasing Rams.
However, since that triumph Sunderland have lost to Sheffield Wednesday and drawn at Leeds United, meaning a positive result against the Canaries on Tuesday night is essential.
Lewis Grabban scored twice and also netted an own goal as the Sunderland beat Norwich at Carrow Road in August.
Grabban latched on to James Vaughan's flick-on to open the scoring before half-time.
Aiden McGeady added a second from the edge of the box and crossed for Grabban to nod in his second at the far post.
Grabban poked into his own net after Sunderland failed to clear a set-piece, while City also hit a post late on in Daniel Farke’s first competitive home game in charge.
