Tristan Abrahams was pleased Norwich City Under-23s finally got the upper-hand over Wolverhampton Wanderers in their 2-1 win on Sunday afternoon.
The match was the fourth time the two sides had met this year with City yet to have beaten Wolves in their previous three encounters.
However, Matt Gill's side made it fourth-time lucky at the weekend after goals from Abrahams and Marco Stiepermann were enough to pick up the three points.
Speaking post-match, Abrahams said "We're delighted. We've played them a few times this season but didn't get a win against them so I think we finally got what we deserved.
"We've played very well every time we've played Wolves and again today, we came out on top.
"[Making a fast start] was something that Matt Gill told us. It was important to put pressure on them early and get the early goal.
Abrahams' goal was his ninth of the season and the 19-year-old says he's pleased with how he's progressing at Norwich City since joining from Leyton Orient last summer.
"Of course I'm happy to get goals but there's always room for improvement," he added. "I always like to score a few more goals but it was nice to score today.
"I've really enjoyed my time here. I'm just taking everything as it comes.
"If [a loan move] is something that they do propose to me, it's definitely something i'll take into consideration."
