Norwich City v Stevenage: All you need to know

14 August 2018

Norwich City are back in action at Carrow Road this Tuesday evening as they begin their Carabao Cup campaign in Round One against Stevenage (7.45pm kick-off).

Daniel Farke is expected to make plenty of changes to his team following the 4-3 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at the weekend but still wants his team to go as far as possible.

Their opponents have begun their Sky Bet League Two campaign positively with a win and a draw from their two games so far.

Here's all you need to know ahead this week's encounter:

Meet the opposition

Stevenage finished 16th in League Two last season but have began this season in much better form and are currently sixth with two games played.

They are managed by Tunisian-born Dino Maamria who moved to the club following managerial spells with Northwich Victoria, Southport and Nuneaton Town.

Top scorer so far for Boro is veteran striker Alex Revell. He scored his first and second goals of the season in the 3-1 victory over Crawley Town at the weekend.

The 35-year-old has played for the likes of Brighton and Hove Albion, Cardiff City and Rotherham United throughout his career and could cause the Canaries plenty of problems on Tuesday.
