Daniel Farke has said his City side are ready to fight until the final whistle to pick up their first win against Preston North End.
The Canaries will take on Alex Neil’s team at Carrow Road on Wednesday at 7.45pm.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, he said: “We need to show our chests, stick together and go for the win.
“We know that we have conceded too many goals to win more points, but we had Tim Krul who missed pre-season, Grant Hanley was out pre-season as well as Ivo Pinto and Jamal Lewis so it does explain why we had these slight problems but we are getting more and more into our rhythm.
“The whole team has to work hard in order to be solid but I didn’t get the feeling after the first three games that there is a tactical problem. You have to concede less goals to win more points and that’s what we will do in the next games.
“We have to focus a bit more on our awareness against the ball to work on the fine margins and if we are doing that and with the offensive quality we have showed, I am pretty sure that we are able to win many, many points.”
Farke said the team will be looking to capitalise on every chance they get against Preston.
“It is important that we are clinical and effective in using the chances we have,” he said.
“Of course we have prepared the lads for Preston and how they play but it is more important for us to be focussed on us, to stick together and believe in our football and to force a result.
“Together with our supporters, all of the staff and everyone on the pitch, we will create an attitude that whatever happens on the pitch we stick together until the last second and force the result."
