Onel Hernandez frequently used the word “crazy” to describe the final ten minutes of Norwich City’s 2-2 draw with Birmingham City.
The City winger netted twice, his first goals for the club, to help the Canaries fight from behind and earn a point.
Speaking post-match, Hernandez said: “It was very crazy. For me, I’m happy that I can help my team and the club with two goals.
“It was very emotional for me. It was a good assist from Dennis Srbeny and it was a very nice feeling.
“The power, the emotion – oh my god! It was just so crazy.
“It just happened. The movement and the feeling, it just came to me. But I’m very happy.
Hernandez hopes he can deliver similar types of moments going forward.
“It was amazing to celebrate with the fans,” he added. “They were crazy and amazing. When I ran to the side, it was very crazy and I liked it very much.
“We could have won the game but we have only the draw. We have to train harder and we have to play the game the next week.
“For me, it was very important we didn’t lose the game today. Birmingham played well but we worked a lot and it was my feeling that we had the game under control.”
