City’s new-look OTBC will be available for a reduced price of £3 in the Championship this season, with a host of brilliant new features.
With no reduction in pagination or quality, the Club listened to fans’ feedback in last season’s supporters’ survey and have reduced the price from £3.50 to £3 in line with most Championship clubs.
Joe Ferrari, director of communications at Norwich City, said: “While some clubs lower down the league pyramid may be opting not to produce a matchday programme this season following revised EFL guidelines, Norwich City remain fully committed and passionate about OTBC.
“We are proud of our matchday programme and by listening to supporters and reducing the price but keeping the same number of pages, we hope it shows our commitment and makes it available to an even wider audience.”
Following the success of last season’s OTBC covers, we have once again teamed up with local football art studio Patterns of Play to bring you our unique covers for 2018-19. Each cover will feature one of City’s 300 men – those 23 Canaries legends who have featured in more than 300 matches for the Club.
We kick things off with all-time appearances record-holder Kevin Keelan, and each OTBC will also feature a profile of the great men in a new Portrait of an Icon series.
There are also several other new features, including a quirky A to Z look at City, a look back at the 1988-89 season when City chased both the league title and the FA Cup, a unique interview series with former players, and former official club photographer Roger Harris choosing his favourite 23 images from across four decades.
Further details of the first issue will be announced on Friday, including the chance to win a hospitality package for two if you pick up a programme signed by a first-team player.
Programmes can be bought from more locations than last season, and five matchday vendors will take contactless payment for the first time. These can be found outside the Queen of Iceni on Riverside, on the corner of King Street opposite Carrow Bridge, and at Carrow Road outside the Canary Store, the Away entrance and the Gunn Club entrance.
The first programme of the season will also come with a one-off detachable wrap with details of other traditional matchday items such as Golden Goals and Academy Jackpot.
