Jordan Rhodes will be in the travelling Norwich City squad as they prepare for their Sky Bet Championship opener against Birmingham City on Saturday.
Rhodes picked up a knock in the penultimate pre-season match against Luton Town last Wednesday and subsequently missed the final friendly with Charlton Athletic at the weekend.
However, City boss Daniel Farke delivered some positive news on the fitness on his loan striker.
"Jordan has been back in team training since Wednesday and he will 100% travel with us to Birmingham," he said.
"We have to think about whether it makes sense to bring him into the starting line-up.
"But he's been able to train for the last two days with us and at least he can travel with us."
Overall, it was an upbeat injury bulletin with positive lines on the fitness of Jamal Lewis, Ivo Pinto and Alex Tettey.
"In general, things are pretty good. Jamal has been back in team training for two days but Birmingham is too early for him.
"Ivo has been back since the beginning of the week and Alex has been back for eight days.
"All in all, it's pretty good. We've had many lads on the pitch this week.
"There are only a couple of guys who are still out, with the long-term injuries for Mario Vrancic and Matt Jarvis."
