Meet the opposition

Nottingham Forest currently sit seventh in the Championship table with 35 points, just three points out of the play-offs behind Sheffield United.

Forest manager Aitor Karanka was appointed in January, 2018, and his side got off to a good start this season losing only one game prior to their first encounter with Norwich on October 20.

In that game, Norwich won 2-1 at the City Ground with a second-half brace from Timm Klose helping Norwich come from behind after a goal from ex-Canary Lewis Grabban in the fifth minute.

After the match, Forest went on another unbeaten run of seven matches, ending on December 8 when they lost 1-0 to Preston North End. Forest played Queens Park Rangers at home last time out with Toni Leistner heading home Luke Freeman’s 45th-minute free-kick to give QPR the win.

Grabban is Forest’s top scorer so far this season, with 15 goals and two assists in all competitions, followed by Joe Lolley with seven goals and six assists.
