Under-23s in international cup action at Carrow Road

12 December 2018

Norwich City’s Under-23s will take on VfL Wolfsburg’s Under-23s in the Premier League International Cup on Thursday.

The game will be played under the lights at Carrow Road, with kick-off at 7pm.

The fixture is the second international cup game City will face, having already played Athletic Club Bilbao’s Under-23s, losing 3-0 at home.

Wolfsburg also suffered a defeat in their last game, losing 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-23s at the Lamex Stadium in Stevenage. However they made a good start to the campaign with a 4-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao.

Norwich will face Tottenham next time out in the cup at Colney Training Centre on Friday, December 21, in their final match of the group.

The six group winners and the two best runners-up will then advance to the quarter finals.
