City’s successful partnership with Coral, which sees the brand’s logo displayed prominently on Carrow Road’s iconic Barclay stand, will come to a conclusion at the end of the 2017-18 season.
In August 2015 City announced a three-year partnership with the well-known betting brand Coral, which comes to its natural contractual finish at the end of this campaign.
City’s Director of Commercial Ben Kensell commented: “In the summer of 2017, the Club announced a new multi-year principal partnership agreement with Leo Vegas. During discussions with them it was agreed that from 2018-19 onwards, while the Club was in partnership with LeoVegas, the Club would not represent any more than one betting and gaming brand.
“As a result, the Club will be exploring a variety of exciting options for the rebranding of the Barclay stand for the 2018-19 season onwards. In any and all eventualities, the stand will retain its current historic name, which means so much to the Club and our supporters.
“I’d like to thank Coral for their support in what has been an excellent and productive partnership for them and Norwich City.”
Since Carrow Road was built in 1935, the Barclay has been the spiritual home of some of the Club's noisiest and most passionate supporters. The exterior of the stand faces both onto the Norwich train line and Canary Way, with more than 10,000 motorists passing daily.
