Norwich City have completed the signing of highly-rated Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder will link up with Daniel Farke's squad immediately, but is ineligible for Wednesday's FA Cup tie at Chelsea due to not being registered ahead of the first meeting between the teams.
Born in London and a product of Spurs' Academy, Edwards made his debut for Mauricio Pochettino's side in September 2016 when he came on as a subsitute during their 5-0 EFL Cup win over Gillingham.
An England youth international at various levels, he formed part of the Young Lions squad which won the European Under-19 Championships last summer.
After completing his temporary switch to Carrow Road, Edwards told Norwich City TV: "I'm really excited and can't wait to help the team.
"I like to get on the ball, take people on, create things and score goals. When I spoke to the manager, he made me feel welcome and explained how he wanted to play."
Head Coach Daniel Farke added: "Marcus is a young player with huge potential.
"He is rated as one of the biggest talents in English football but will need some time to adapt to a new surrounding and to the physical game in the Championship.
"Again, it's a sign of our way to work with young and talented players."
