Daniel Farke says he is pleased with how pre-season is going for his Norwich City players so far.
Speaking after City's 2-0 win over Crawley Town, the City Head Coach was happy with how his players coped with the load on one of their toughest pre-season days so far.
"It's been solid with three wins in three games," he said. "In general, the focus at the moment is on getting fit for the new season and not so much the results.
"The performances are important and all in all, it's not been too bad.
"I knew today was be tough for the lads because we had a session in the morning then for most of the lads it was 60 minutes and some it was 90 minutes.
"After the game, they have to do some more running. It's been a tough day and probably the biggest load so far in pre-season.
"In general, I think you have to work hard sometimes and I'm pleased with our situation at the moment."
City now head to Germany for a week of intense training as well as three friendlies, starting on Sunday against Paderborn.
"[The training] doesn't get tougher, I would say it gets more detailed. We do a lot more tactical work.
"In the first two and a half/three weeks, we were there with a lot of load for the lads but right now it's about facing the games and tactical movements.
"It's perhaps a bit tougher for the head because it's exhausting when you speak about this detailed stuff. But in general, it's a pretty important period of the pre-season."
