Jordan Rhodes says he is looking forward to playing in front of packed crowds at Carrow Road after signing for the Canaries on a season-long loan deal.
Rhodes arrives in Norfolk with real pedigree having built a reputation as one of the most lethal finishers in the EFL.
And he is relishing the opportunity of entertaining the 26,000+ attendance at City’s home on a regular basis.
“[A full-house every week] is something I’ve rarely had,” said Rhodes. “But it will be something different and I’m really looking forward to it.
“The fact that Norwich sells out says everything about the club and the area. It’s a real attraction for players wanting to come here.
“With a fanbase like that and them gearing behind the team, it can only be a good thing.
“When they’re willing that goal to go in, it something that opposing teams don’t like. It can be an intimidating place at times.”
Rhodes says he’s looking forward to settling into life in Norwich and added it helps having players at the club who he already knows.
“I’m really looking forward to settling into the area, getting to know everyone and really taking in the local surroundings.
“I know it’s only for a year but I really want to throw myself into local life.
“I was in regular contact with James [Husband] and Ben [Marshall]. They had nothing but good words to say about the manager, the coaching staff, the fans, the facilities and everyone here.”
