A group of City fans have got together to launch an independent crowdfunding campaign with the target of raising £3,000 to buy flags, banners and displays to be used at Carrow Road on matchdays.
Supporter group Barclay End Norwich and fansite Along Come Norwich aim to create more noise and colour inside the ground, and want to increase the number of displays in the Lower Barclay – although anything brought into the ground will be subject to approval from the Football Club.
The Go Fund Me crowdfunding campaign, which began on Thursday, has already raised almost £1500.
Jon Punt , of Along Come Norwich, said: “We’re hoping to make Carrow Road a colourful, noisy and vibrant place in 2018-19 and beyond. Our plans currently include more flags, banners and hopefully in time visual displays like the brilliant mosaic created by the Club for Wes Hoolahan.
“In order to do that, we've launched a crowd funding initiative which will be used to pay for our activities. We have a number of ideas for next season, although what we can achieve will be dependent on how much money is raised. So we're asking if like-minded supporters, or those that just like what we're trying to do, might be happy to donate a little money to help make this a reality.”
