Daniel Farke believes Emi Buendia is the "perfect fit" for his Norwich City squad ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Attacking midfielder Buendia will join the Canaries on a four-year deal on July 1 and it's a move that Farke thinks will help City in the final third of the pitch.
Speaking exclusively to canaries.co.uk, Farke said: "We were very effective in lots of topics last year but our topic in the final third was a little poor.
"Emi offers lot of quality in the final third. He did really well in a strong league last year for a team fighting relegation.
"He's a young guy and needs time to adapt to English football. He has already started to learn English and about our philosophy and we are all looking forward to working with him."
The progress of Buendia has been closely followed by Farke and Sporting Director Stuart Webber over the past few months and the City Head Coach says they were both keen to secure his signature.
"We’ve followed him for several months and we were always desperate to sign him. There was lots of interest in him.
"He is a young talent with lots of potential. We want a guy who scores and assists and he did this all of last season.
"It's important he has a break now because he has had a long season with his team. I'm sure he's very excited to come back and join us for pre-season."
