City matches to be screened live to UK audiences on iFollow

21 June 2018

Some City matches will be made available to watch to supporters within the UK and Ireland on iFollow throughout the 2018-19 season.

In a first for England football, any league matches that take place outside the blocked hours of 14.45-17.15 on Saturday afternoon and that are not broadcast live on Sky Sports will be available to stream on iFollow. Fixtures taking place on Bank Holidays or Easter will be unavailable for streaming.

This development has been made possible due to the new broadcast agreement with Sky, with EFL Clubs allowed to stream games to a domestic audience for the first time.

All matches outside of those picked up for live television broadcast will be available to overseas fans to watch live, as per 2017-18.

Fans in the UK will still be able to listen to full live commentary of all matches, as per 2017-18.

Norwich City were the only EFL Digital team to offer full commentary, replays and multi-camera coverage on home matches last season

Details of next season’s broadcast set-up and commentary will be announced in due course.
