Daniel Farke is expecting much better from his Norwich City side when they visit Barnsley in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday evening (7:45pm).
The Canaries suffered their first away league defeat of 2018 at the weekend, going down 4-3 at Hull following an indifferent performance at The KCOM Stadium.
"I was not happy at all with our first 35 minutes," Farke told the media on Monday.
"There were many mistakes, which we have analysed. It was important to be honest with the players, to speak about the mistakes and be self-critical.
"We had a bad day in individual terms. There were poor individual performances.
"I have trust in my players that we will be there with much better behaviour tomorrow."
City's Head Coach faces something of a selection headache, with numerous members of his squad doubtful for the trip to South Yorkshire.
"We will find some players who can play this game," he added.
"There are no gifts but some players will get a chance. Barnsley will be desperate to win.
"When a side is in a relegation battle, they have to win home games. They will have a will to fight and aggressiveness.
"We have to be there with much better defensive behaviour."
